Minari Movie Screening and Discussion

East Asian Languages and Cultures, East Asian Studies, and Asian American Studies bring you Minari movie night! We will be giving out tickets for a virtual screening for Minari directed by Lee Isaac Chung.

Registration for tickets is closed. You may contact Krystel Mowery to inquire if there is a last-minute opening.

As there is a cap to the number of screening tickets available, please register for one ticket for your suite, apartment, or whomever you'd like to watch with (abiding by university COVID-19 guidelines) and screen the movie together to conserve space! Registration is open until April 5th noon or until tickets are all reserved.

If you RSVP for a ticket, and later change your mind, please contact krystelmowery@wustl.edu to release your ticket to another student.

Registering for one ticket allows you to screen Minari within a four-hour window between 2PM–6PM Central Time on Saturday, April 10, 2021. (RSVP link below.)

After the screening, we will be hosting an optional (but highly recommended!) movie screening discussion with panelists Linling Gao-Miles, Mimi Kim, Ji-Eun Lee, and Yuqian Yan, at 8PM Central on the same day through a Zoom link.

We urge you to begin watching as early in the window as you can, to avoid troubleshooting down to the wire, and to reach out to A24 live chat support if you have any issues.

Screening is open to WashU students and faculty. You must RSVP with your @wustl.edu email address.

This virtual screening is available to U.S. viewers only. Do not RSVP for a ticket if you are not residing in the USA.

About 2-3 days before screening, all RSVP’d guests will receive an email from “support@a24films.com” with the subject “You got a ticket for a virtual screening! Sign up for an A24 Account to access.” Check your spam folder if you don't get an email.

Within this email, guests will be prompted to “Sign Up” for an account within the A24 Screening Room, using the @wustl.edu email address they used to RSVP. This email address will be noted in the body of the email as “Your Email” as a reminder.

Once guests sign up for their account, their accounts will be pre-populated with a ticket to their screening.

Eight hours prior to our screening time, guests will receive a reminder email from “support@a24films.com”.

Live-chat tech support will be available throughout the screening.
