Xinyue Gao enters the Chinese language and literature PhD program in Fall 2021.
Xinyue received her master’s degree in Chinese from Stanford University. Her current research focuses on memory writings in contemporary China, especially the dialectic tension between everyday life recollections and nation-centered official history.
