Laurel Taylor wins 2018 Percy Buchanan Prize

Laurel Taylor, (second year PhD student in Japanese and Comparative Literature) has won the 2018 Percy Buchanan Prize for the Best Graduate Student Paper in Northeast Asia for her paper "I'm Telling the Truth I Swear: Metafictional Steps in Tanizaki." She will have the opportunity to present the paper at the Midwest Conference on Asian Affairs (MCAA), October 19-20, 2018, as well as the opportunity to publish her paper in Studies on Asia.
