Yihan Lulu Wang is a PhD candidate in the joint Chinese and Comparative Literature program.

Yihan Lulu Wang (王奕涵) is a PhD candidate of the joint program of Chinese and Comparative Literature in East Asian Languages and Cultures at Washington University in St. Louis. She obtained her MA in Comparative Literature from University College of London, and her BA in English from Nankai University, during which she spent a year at La Universidad de Los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia) as an exchange student to learn Spanish. Yihan's doctoral dissertation studies the visions of social reproduction in contemporary Chinese speculative fiction. Her research interest covers post-socialist Chinese literary and cultural production, Marxist feminism, Affect studies, narrative theory, and STS studies. Off the clock, Yihan enjoys dancing, creative writing (she is currently working on a RTTP script), and scripted murder games.
